T&Cs - MAKEUP CONSULTATION
A £10 booking fee will be requested to secure your appointment. This is non refundable if you decide to cancel your appointment or fail to attend.
*If the appointment is cancelled by the MUA the booking fee will be refunded unless they can offer an alternative solution.
*There is an additional fee if you decide you would like to remove all makeup and try a whole new look. A second appointment may be required if this is the case.
*A 25% booking fee to secure your wedding date should be paid before makeup consultation dates can be offered & booked, this is due to the MUAs limited availability and advanced requests for wedding bookings.
*If the date or time of the appointment needs to be amended the booking fee can be transferred to the new date if possible.
*If the client would like a repeat makeup consultation, there will be an additional fee for this.
*Makeup consultations are limited to 90 mins per person, if extra time is needed this is charged at £20 per additional 30min block subject to availability. Additional makeup needs will be carried out at the discretion of the MUA.
*All makeup appointments are carried out at the MUAs studio.
*1 set of complimentary strip lashes are included per person, if the client would like to upgrade to the Luxe range and additional £5 will be charged. The Luxe range is subject to availability.
*If the client would like to provide their own lashes they are welcome to do so. The MUA will advise the client if these are not suitable for use.
*Full payment for the makeup consultation should be made on the day of appt. If the client wishes to pay via transfer this should be paid before you arrive to the studio.
*The MUA does not keep change on the premises, the exact amount needs to paid if paying with cash.
T&Cs - THE BIG DAY
*The MUA will request a deposit of 25% to secure the date of the wedding. This is non-refundable.
*The 25% security deposit should be paid within 48hours of the enquiry. The MUA holds the right to release the date to another client after this time.
*There is an additional fee if you decide you would like to remove all of the makeup on the day and try a whole new look. This is only possible if there is time.
*The final balance is due to be paid a minimum of 5 working days before the wedding day. The MUA holds the right to terminate their services if payment is not made, any previous payments that have been made will not be refunded.
*Please do not pay well in advance unless this has been cleared by the MUA.
*A second makeup artist may be required for large bridal parties, please make Amy aware of your exact number. There will be an additional premium for this.
*If the client decides to reduce the size of the bridal party less than 12 weeks before the date of the wedding the full amount will still need to be paid.
*If you decide to reduce your bridal party once the 2nd makeup artist has already been booked full payment will still apply regardless of the time frame.
*The MUA holds the right to decline any additions that have been added on and not discussed and agreed with the MUA in advance.
*Strip lashes are provided on a complimentary basis, if you wish to upgrade to the Luxe range an additional £5 per set will be added to the final invoice.
*If the clients wishes to increase the size of their bridal party the MUA should be informed asap. The MUA holds the right to decline any additions.
*For those who are making a last minute booking (4 weeks or less until the date of the event) the total balance will be requested in full. This should be paid 48 hours after the initial enquiry was made.
*There is no reduction in the fee if clients ask for 'just a natural look'.
*The client has the responsibility to inform the MUA of any skin conditions or allergies in advance. The MUA does not accept liability for any skin reactions or irritations.
T&Cs - GENERAL
*A £10 booking fee will be requested for all occasion makeup & tutorial bookings, this will be deducted from the final balance. The final balance should be paid for in full on the day of the appointment if paying by cash. Transfer payments should be paid before the client arrives to the studio.
*Complimentary strip lashes will be provided by the MUA, there is no reduction in fee if the client declines these or provides their own.
*If the client would like to upgrade their lashes to the Luxe range an additional £5 will be charged and should be paid for before the lashes are applied. Luxe lashes are subject to availability.
*The client has the responsibility to inform the MUA of any skin conditions or allergies in advance. The MUA does not accept liability for any skin reactions or irritations.
*On booking an appointment the client is accepting the MUAs terms and conditions.
*The MUA holds the right to terminate the service if any of the terms and conditions are breached.
*If the client wishes the MUA to use their own products there will be no reduction in the price.
*If the client has semi-permanent lashes or brows there will not be a reduction in the price.
*Any additional products that are purchased via the MUA should be paid for before the MUA places the order for them. If the item is unavailable the MUA will refund the full amount. If the client changes their mind the amount cannot be refunded.
*The MUA does not tolerate any abuse via messages or face to face. The MUA holds the right to terminate their services if this is the case.
*Please note there are no toilet facilities available at the studio.
*Please note no refreshments are provided at the studio.
T&Cs - TRAVEL
*A mileage fee of 50p per mile will be applied if the makeup artist needs to travel to your venue/getting ready location. This rate will increase to keep in line with national fuel rates. Note, all clients are now liable to pay a mileage fee due to the large increase nationally.
*If the MUA needs to pay and display parking the client will need to cover the cost of this. The MUA should be made aware in advance.
*If the MUA needs to travel using public transport the full cost should be covered by the client.
T&Cs - CANCELLATION POLICY
*If the MUA can no longer perform services for any reason, a recommendation for a replacement will be provided.
*The MUA is only liable to offer a 100% refund if she has had to cancel the booking and cannot provide an alternative solution.
*If the client cancels the booking with 3 months or more notice the deposit plus 50% of the balance will still be due.
*If the client cancels the booking with less than 3 months’ notice the deposit plus 75% of the balance will still be due.
*If the client cancels the booking within 1 months’ notice the deposit plus 100% of the balance will still be due.
*If the client wishes to postpone the booking to a later date all monies paid can be transferred to the new booking if the MUA is available on that date.
*The cancellation policy as stated above covers any and all eventualities, for example, Acts of God.
